On my path, I learned that a shaman will receive his power song. Up until this point, I have been using one gifted to me by Sandra Ingerman. She said it was to call the bear spirit to protect me during ceremony or journeying. I am hoping that I will know my power song after I come down from the hill. Of course since I have been surrounded by music most of my life, singing, listening, playing, the difficult question is what is my song? That is one of the things that I am seeking.
I also wish to have the proper time to journey and spend time with my teachers, my power animals, and my spirit guide. I have felt that a transition is happening with regards to my spirit guide. The impressions that I am getting is that she has gotten me this far and now is turning me over to a new teacher to lead me to my final destination. In the past year, eagle has joined my band of power animals. I was told he was sent to watch over me and protect me as I go to the next level of my training. So I will also take this time to give thanks to all my helpers, teachers, and friends.
The most important reason is to seek clarity of my purpose. To find what it is that I am being asked to do for the people. I have been studying hard for almost five years now. I am just beginning to study herbal medicine. The change is coming. I can feel it. So I go to seek clarity, to know my part, to best be the hollow bone for the Great Spirit.
I go to the wood, I talk to Grandfather Oak, Pine, Stone, Rock, and Stream. I hear the whispers. I need to go to clear my mind of all the technology, all the demands put on me. To sit and be still.

Sandra Ingerman is going to do another interview with me at the end of the month! The former network through which I broadcast lost my archive of her show, and what a terrible loss that was to me!
She just emailed me moments ago, after returning to the country yesterday to reply that we will interview once again, so stay tuned – sooo excited! Let me know!

She probably wouldn't remember me. It has been a long time ago. We met at the Kriapalu Center in Lenox, MA. I got to have coffee with her both mornings. She seems like a great lady.
Hi WhiteWolf. I was at a Shaman's retreat at the Anima Center in the Gila Mountains of New Mexico this past summer. (www.animacenter.org). There was a wonderful medicine woman there, Kiva Rose, who has an amazing herbal blog. (www.bearmedicineherbals.com). I think you might resonate with her work. They are a beautiful group of souls who caretake that land and live at the wilderness sanctuary. Blessings on your path. I feel the shift as well and also seek guidance to know how I might best serve during this time. And, do you know anything of “The White Eagle.” I have been having dreams and feelings of the white eagle and have not been able to figure out what it represents to me. Thank you. Glynnda
